Charles "Trip" Bechert

Charles "Trip" Bechert is an experienced trial attorney who dedicates his practice to representing businesses and people during the most difficult of times. Mr Bechert represents many corporations and defends claims brought against them while navigating them through the treacherous waters of the South Florida Court System. In addition to being a seasoned litigator, Mr. Bechert is a Supreme Court Certified Mediator. This designation gives him a unique perspective on the evaluation and recommendations to his clients. After graduating from St. Thomas University in Miami, he attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School and was admitted to the practice of Law in the State of Florida in 1993.

Mr. Bechert began his career with the Broward County State Attorney’s Office. After trying numerous jury trials he went on to work at a large state-wide litigation firm as defense counsel for such carriers as Allstate Insurance Co. as well as several small carriers. He is a seasoned trial lawyer and had defended and prosecuted thousands of cases in his 20 plus year career. His practice has a strong emphasis on SIU and fraud cases. Currently defending Citizens Property Claims in the ongoing fight against fraud and abuse in South Florida, he strives to ensure that the homeowners who are entitled to coverage and payment are afforded so in an expedient and professional manner.

Mr. Bechert is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in the United States Court for the Middle District of Florida, Southern District of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. Mr Bechert is an “AV” rated attorney by Martindale -Hubble. An “AV” rating is the highest rating awarded for professional ability and adherence to professional standards of conduct and ethics.
